Fits: Isuzu D-Max 2020+

Saves the painted sill ledge from boots, bags and loading gear — the first place a hard-working interior edge loses its paint.

What you get:

  • STEK ForceShield film pre-cut to the exact shape of the door sill ledges on your Isuzu D-Max — edge to edge, no trimming, no blades near your paint
  • Self-healing 8-mil TPU with a hydrophobic top coat — optically clear, rated for up to 10 years
  • Film only — add the $30 Install Kit (squeegee, spray bottle, slip solution and microfibre) if you don’t have tools

Fitting it: 15–20 minutes in your own garage with the step-by-step install guide. Clean, dry, line the film up dry, then wet it and squeegee.

Before you buy: fitting PPF yourself takes patience and a steady hand. Read the install guide and judge your own skill level before ordering — this isn’t a try-before-you-buy product. Film that has been fitted, cut or peeled can’t be returned, and installation issues caused by user error aren’t product faults. By purchasing you agree to our Terms of Service and Refund Policy. Stuck mid-install? Email us — we’ll talk you through it.
PPF Install Kit First install? Add the tools — $30 Kits ship film only. The Install Kit adds the squeegee, spray, solution and cloth.

Common questions

Will it damage my paint if I remove it later?

No. The adhesive is designed to come off clean - warm the film gently, peel it back slowly and it releases without pulling paint or leaving residue. Factory paint underneath is exactly as it was, which is the point: the film takes the damage so the paint never does.

How long does the film last?

Every kit is cut from genuine STEK ForceShield, a TPU film rated for up to 10 years and engineered against yellowing, cracking and delamination. In practice the film outlasts most ownership - it is the same material professional installers use on full vehicle wraps.

Can I really fit this myself?

Yes. The piece is already cut to your exact panel, so there is no measuring and no blade near your car. You spray, position, and squeegee - most kits take 15 to 30 minutes with our step-by-step guide. Any soft rubber-edge squeegee works - our $30 Install Kit has the squeegee, spray bottle, solution and cloth in one box, and the Essentials Bundle includes it all as standard. If it goes on crooked while wet, lift it and float it back into place.

What happens to small scratches in the film?

The film self-heals. Light swirls and scuffs in the surface disappear with warmth - a sunny afternoon or warm water is usually enough. Deeper gouges that would have been paint damage stay in the film instead, which is the trade you want.

Which part of the door does this protect?

The painted sill ledge along the bottom of the door opening - the strip your shoes, tools and gear drag across every time you get in or load up. It is the first place work utes lose paint and start rusting.

Will I see it when the doors are closed?

No. The sill is hidden with the door shut, and the film is clear anyway. You would have to open the door and look for the edge to know it is there.
